I am a Senior Economist in the Currency Department at the Bank of Canada. I joined the Bank in July 2022 after previously holding positions as Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Mannheim and Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Leicester. All opinions expressed on this website and in my research papers are my own and should not be attributed to the Bank.

My research interests lie in the fields of Finance, in particular Digital Finance and Household Finance, and Applied Microeconomic Theory with a focus on Platform Markets. I am especially interested in how recent technological developments affect the information provision to and information transmission between market participants, as well as the evolution of the market for payment systems and implications for consumers' cash inventory management.
